Comment by Mike Kruchoski on September 15, 2012 at 3:13pm I can still drop by this afternoon (Sat. 15th) if you still need some help; I live right down the street. I can probably help out tomorrow (Sun. 16th, 3-5).
Thanks Tom and Diana, look in your inbox for more information!

Gordon, thank you so much for volunteering. I will send you an email with more information. I'll see you on Saturday!
Comment by Gordon C. Thomasson on September 12, 2012 at 9:06am I can be there on the 10-12 shift on Sat. 15 September.
How do I get/find parking and admission? How early? Will I need some sort of ID, or will I be on a list?
Would it be a good idea to bring a couple of capped frames that could be uncapped +/- one-cell-at-a-time so fair-goers (or is it fair-comers?) could each sample honey they see is fresh from the comb? I brought home the package of big toothpicks from the July meeting, when no one picked them up, and those could serve.
Jesse, glad to have someone there more experienced than me.

Renee, that would be fantastic. Both Harold from 10-12 and Diane from 12:30-2:30 are fantastic beekeepers. I will put you in in tentatively for the 12:30-2:30 shift and you can let me know as the date gets closer if that is still ok. Just remember that you probably have a world of bee knowledge compared to any random person at the fair!
Comment by Renee on September 6, 2012 at 6:47pm Hi Jessie - I would like to volunteer for Sunday Sept 16th, preferably one of the two earlier shifts, and preferably with another, more experienced beekeeper as I am just a beginner. Let me know if you could use my help still.
Shona, thank you very much. I have you down for Sept. 15th. I will send you more information as the event gets closer.
