Bees wax

not sure what you mean Kevin but maybe you need cheese cloth?

Ron before I put my honey into jars I scraped and strained the access wax off the top.  Now I have a jar with a bunch of wax infused with honey.  I am trying to save the wax for candles, should I heat the wax, my goal is to  have pure bees wax or will the wax always have a bit of honey mixed with it?

I keep on old cock pot and only heat it on low and the wax will seperate from the honey.

After it separates i let it cool and then the wax will harden on top of the honey.
