Urban beekeeping in New Mexico's largest city.
Sometime Monday night, April 15, 2013, someone broke into my station wagon and stole my beekeeping toolbox. Those of you who know me know the kind of toolbox I carry my kit in--an aluminum box approx. 12 x 16 x 6, about the size of a large ammunition box. The toolbox contained my smoker (the bellows is wrapped in yellow duct tape), a couple of hive tools (bright yellow, from Glory Bee), a pair of branch trimmers, wooden matches, charcoal lighter fluid, a lighter, and a couple of rolls of duct tape. These items are only of use to a beekeeper. Total value about $75, but nobody is making these toolboxes anymore, so in that sense it's priceless. If you see the toolbox (the only mark on the toolbox is a purple and white "target" magnet), and tools please contact me. I've submitted a police report on the incident. Thanks.
