I opened up one of my hives today and was surprised to find a ton of new bees.  It seems like they're starting to gain some momentum and are really taking off.  I removed my bottom board cover to allow for more ventilation in the hive.  June is right around the corner and I know we're going to start seeing temps in the 90's before too long.  I also saw that they're starting to store what I think is honey.  It was amber in color and some of it was capped.  I'm still feeding sugar water and I'm hoping I can start to taper off that soon.

Since the brood box is starting to look a little full, I decided to add another medium box to the hive.  At first the bees seemed really confused.  I utilize a top entrance and you can see in the picture that they looked like they didn't know how to get in the hive.  It cleared up after about 15 mins.
