Hi Ben,  I am bringing 100 Double Deep hives out of almonds the last two weeks of March.  I am running a special on them until January 1, 2018.  Our regular price is $600.00 but orders placed with a 20% deposit before 1/1/18 will receive a $200.00 discount so that the price will be $400.00.  These hives are full of bees top to bottom.  They can be split into two 10 frame singles at any time.  I would make a crop of honey then split them the first week of June.  When 4 frame nucs are running $250.00 each and singles $300 each this makes these strong double deeps a great bargain.  You can easily split these hives into 4 each 4 frame nucs at any point from March to April.  CC Miller in his book "Fifty Years Among the Bees" tells how he would split his hives into 6 hives and still make a honey crop.  Give us a call at 505-286-4843.
