Extractor for sale

Stainless steel tangential electric extractor. Radial reels are available. Dadant, perhaps? It can extract four deep frames or eight medium or shallow frames. Speed control clutch and 1/4 hp motor. 19" diameter, 26" tall barrel. American made. Works great, but I only have two 8 frame medium Langstroth colonies, so it's a bit much for my needs. You can call me at four five zero 5204. $500

Hi Brett,  Thanks for the welcome.  I'm thinking to start out with a TBH, and first thing (other than to learn) is to figure out where I should place hives.  I see on the abqbeeks site that TJ has some healthy hives on his roof, and I can see some advantages to that as long as the bees are happy.  First, I'll read - then I'll call you to pick your brain.  I'm hoping to get started in March if that makes sense.  BTW, we've backed off on taking the bees out of the wall - they can stay - and I'll try to start with some 'new' bees.  All the best, Joe

Hello Brett, I used to teach full time too, I know what it's like!  Hope you and family are well and the school year is going smoothly for you!  You are welcome to come over anytime, I have one of each, built the top bar myself.  I'll gladly share what little I know!  Look forward to hearing from you, John

Hello Brett!  It is a great way to gather understanding and the honey and wax are wonderful too!  Are you looking at top bar or Langstroth?
