Swarm pickup needed

Greetings.     Today, I was passed the phone number for a gentleman with a swarm in his yard.  730-1774.  It's in the Lomas & Constitution area.  It flew into his yard yesterday afternoon/early evening.  I was over there about 12:45 PM today, Saturday.     The swarm is mid-sized, I think.  It's 25-30 feet up a pine tree, about 5-6 feet out along a branch.  You'll need a 30 foot ladder, I think, and a bee vac would be much safer over trying to cut the branch at that point, which is thick…See More

My wife and I started beekeeping last year, 2010, late in the year. We were lucky to get a weak group of bees in June, but they didn't survive the summer. We'd like to try again this year, and learn more about beekeeping
