Birdfeeder Problems

I have a neighbor who enjoys birding. He has numerous types of feeders in his yard. He's been having problems with our bees on some of his feeders. We don't want to be bad neighbors. I pointed him to the Hummzinger feeders that worked well for us as a bee free alternative to hummingbird feeders. Yet he's having problems with his oriole feeders. Any recommendations or suggestions you can share would be appreciated.

Cut out help needed

I've got friends who have a colony of bees that have been living in a wall of their house for some time now. They've adopted a canale as their entrance. (see photo) When they heard I'm interested in bees, they asked if I knew anyone who could help them get these bees out. I told them I'd throw it out to this group. These folks live in the Placitas area. Let me know if you have any interest and experience in doing this, and I can put you in touch with them. You can reach me at 867-6202. Thanks - DrewSee More

"Hey Drew!  If the theory that our handheld smokers calm bees by evoking forest fire is correct, than these could be some dang good beeworking days... except that the smoke is usually brought by strong afternoon winds..."

"Howdy! You know, I don't recall any impact from the fires last year on my hives either in Nob Hill or the Valley. Here's hoping  we have the same luck this time."
