Aggressive Bees

I spoke with someone last year who told me they deal with aggressive bees, but I can't remember who. Can anyone tell me who deals with them? One of our hives is super aggressive. I considered re-queening and started looking for the queen when my head gear was covered with bees, so I couldn't see what I was doing. That wasn't a lot of fun and needless to say, I did not find her. Can someone direct me to someone who can help me with this hive? You can call me at 505-401-0330 or reply to this…See More

Aggressive hive

I received a phone call from people who have a box of bees in their backyard. They moved in eight years ago and just left the box alone, but now their neighbors are complaining. Apparently, the person who lived there before them had made some kind of box they may have meant for bees. In checking the hive out this evening, my husband had moved a board away from the hive, which angered the bees. He got stung several times and we both got chased as we walked away, so they seem pretty aggressive.…See More

Sorry you can't make it Glenna. Perhaps next year we can find an indoor venue in Albuquerque. Thanks for the kind words...

Hi Glenna,

We are changing the location of the class this coming Sunday. We've been doing the Albuquerque classes at an outdoor location and because there is liquid wax, we need an indoor venue to keep the bees from diving in. We will be having the class in Santa Fe instead, and hope you can still make it. It will be held at 2119 Botulph Rd. in Santa Fe. You can find it on Mapquest.

Thanks,

Les
