Experienced Topbar Beek Available for Lesson?

Hi Beeks,I need some help with topbar hive maintenance. I have a new hive that is super productive with honey and brood. They've almost filled the hive and it's their first year.  However, they've gone cross-combing crazy and filled bars with honey that balloon out. These bees are just not wanting color within the lines!I tried working this out today and they became pretty sting happy and upset. I ended up having to close the hive without completing the job. As a fairly new beek I lost my cool…See More

Does anyone have land for hives?

Hi everyone. I am interested in starting a small apiary on a bit of farmland. Trouble is, I live in the heart of the city. Maybe we could work out some sort of exchange for honey/beeswax, and of course, pollination! Or does anyone have any ideas on how to connect with potentially interested farmers? Please feel free to contact me via…See More

About me:
This is my third year as a beekeeper. I have 2 hives, both in Los Ranchos. Finally feel like I'm getting out of the beginner stage. But when it comes to troubleshooting, I still have lots to learn. I adore the bees (as I'm sure all of us do here)!
