About me:
I am a New Mexico native and I have been a beekeeper since 2007. My husband and I currently have about 13 hives, including several in our back yard and several in out-yards around the city. We sell our honey and my husband, Ryan Kowal, is working on a queen-rearing project. If you need queens, give him a call. I'm an associate dean at UNM where I work on community partnerships and education. I love to camp, hike, sail and be in the outdoors with my husband, young daughter, and our dog Suki. I also love to knit and sew and I collect tarot decks.
I use the following type of bee hives:
Langstroth
My bee hives are primarily located here (ZIP code):
87111
