My Father was a Langstroth hive beekeeper in Southern CA mostly working for pollination contracts. I studied top bar hive beekeeping with Les Crowder in 2010 and have been keeping bees since. I like to work with all aspects of the hive. I collect extra propolis when possible for medicine, I melt and clean wax for candles and soaps, I love eating comb pollen and specialty honey during the various blooms throughout the seasons. More important however, I have a deep love and respect for honeybees and feel blessed to learn from them as I practice natural methods of caring for them.
