Hi Jessie,

the instructions for the date and time of the final abq beeks meeting have been TOTALLY confusing!  The email you sent today said it was tonight from 6:30-8:30.  On the website it says Saturday, 4-6pm.

My husband and I came with posole in hand tonight at 6:30pm to the Bosque School...looks like i missed the end of the year gathering:( See you in the Spring!

Hi Jessie!

I'm wondering, can TJ's splendid film about TBH package installation be posted on Abq Beeks?  Jodi.

Thank you Jessie for that information.

First for us to have a bee hive and want to have them there next year when spring comes.

Look forward to attending a bee keepers meeting.

These bees came from Miguel Sarria- he has moved to Costa Rica and sold his house here.

Hello Jessie,

I took your intro class in the South Valley this past May and I am working this summer on my continued beekeeping study for my VCFA master's thesis in design. I wonder if you would be OK me posting to the ABQ Beeks site or on our FB site a short three questions that I have created on Survey Monkey. This is to gather answers for some very basic beekeeping questions. All the information is kept confidential.  Thank you for your consideration. ~ Mary Hanrahan

Here is the sample questions for your review: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VB698F8

Thank you for offering to give suggestions on a bee trap, Jessie. I will be watching another swarm catcher retrieve these bees in the canale with his trap, so I'm looking forward.

Jessie, this is Robert Flores and I want to attend the event this Saturday but I don't even know how to RSVP. Once again if you could help me in this situation I would be very appreciative. Robert

Jessie,

Are the bees a nuisance currently?  My bees were really flying today, but it was 60+ degrees today, so I'm assuming these garage bees were out and about as well.  Is their hive entry impeding anyone's access into/out of the garage?  We've still got some cold days and nights ahead, but those bees are starting to think about spring, and so the queen's starting to lay.  If you can delay the takeout for about a month you shouldn't have any survival problems.  Ask the homeowners to keep you alerted to any increased activity levels, and plan on a nice warm day in late February for your takeout.

Hello Jessie me and my daughter (sofia ) are interested in starting a hive. we have "lots" to learn and are looking forward to the meeting. we have a few questions if you dont mind answering? where and how do you keep your bees in the winter? how much space do you need to have a hive?   Thanks, JAKE

Thanks Jessie, my former boss worked on a farm over the weekend and picked up a box of horse manure. I would like some direction on the how too of smoking the hive and before that lighting the fuel    When you get back of course.

Hey Jessie, this is Robert. I finally got my smoker and now need some of your "natural smoking fuel"   Think I could get some from you? I've been wanting to become more involved with hive life and don't feel comfortable without smoking the hive before I visit. Thanks, Robert.

Hey Jessie, that mom's group visit (to see the pigs) was so fun! Yes, love what a small town this is & that there was so much BEE love in the Alibi article!

We have workshops every month. You can check out the schedule at www.sunstoneherbs.com/workshop.html

My Herbalism 101 class is actually starting this Sunday. Still a few spots left if you want to join us. Cheers!

You were a rock star; invaluable for mindset, knowledge, and all the equipment I haven't managed to acquire yet. Most of the bees are in the hive now (box was empty so I brought it inside and a small clump still in the thorn bush). I switched entrances around dusk as everyone seemed settle for the night.
